Thirty meters below the ground

President visiting the construction site thirty meters underground Tunç Soyer“A study where technology is used at a high level is probably a unique spot where students at the university can come and see what they read in the books. In that sense, I think that a great opportunity has been created for universities. The excavation of one kilometer, or one-seventh, of the approximately 7,2 kilometer line has been completed. This does not mean that one-seventh of the work is finished, but at least it expresses a scale in excavation,” he said.

Will increase the comfort of Izmir

Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç Soyer, said the following about the project, which will be implemented at the beginning of 2022: “It will provide relief in urban traffic. With the parking lots to be built at the station exits, relaxation will be provided not only on the line, but also in the city. It will allow you to leave your vehicle and enter the city by metro. Therefore, this is a study that will increase the comfort of the city in every respect, the comfort of the people living in the city, and allow them to travel more comfortably. As of now, 750 people are working, this number will increase to 500 people later. It is a very feverish and risky work, however, it is a successful and rapidly progressing work. I congratulate all my colleagues, they are carrying out a very successful work. God bless all. Hopefully, we will end it on the promised date and bring it together with the people of Izmir.”
