Continuing to attract attention with technological developments, TÜLOMSAŞ also contributes to the country's economy by using energy effectively and efficiently. Due to this sensitivity, the company was awarded the first prize in the "Energy Efficiency in Industry" project competition within the scope of the Energy Efficiency Forum and Fair events held in Istanbul on 11-12 April.
In the "Energy Efficient Industrial Plant" (YES) category, TÜLOMSAŞ became the company that reduced the energy intensity the most, as a result of the evaluation of approximately 20 enterprises registered in the Ministry's database "Energy Efficiency Portal" and sending energy consumption information regularly every year.
TÜLOMSAŞ reduced its energy intensity by 2010 percent on average in the last three years (2014-2015) compared to the reference energy intensity (REY) between 2017 and 44,4, and became the first in the “Manufacturing of Other Transportation Vehicles” sub-sector. On behalf of the company, which is exemplified in the increase in efficiency in industry, Ali Yaşar Nal received the award on behalf of the General Manager of TÜLOMSAŞ.
