Social Cooperative and Education Train in Hatay

Within the scope of the project developed by the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Tradesmen, Craftsmen and Cooperatives in order to raise awareness on the social cooperative model, support, develop and disseminate social cooperatives, the "Social Cooperative Education and Promotion Train" departed from Istanbul reached Hatay. On Wednesday, April 17, NGO representatives, cooperatives and Hatay Metropolitan Municipality were greeted with a Mehteran show at Iskenderun Train Station.

Following the speeches of Ekrem Alper BOZKURT, Deputy General Director of Tradesmen, Craftsmen and Cooperatives of the Ministry of Commerce and Erol ÖZKAN, Deputy Governor of Hatay, folk dances team of İskenderun District National Education Directorate and İskenderun Municipality Barrier-Free Life Workshop Choir were performed. The welcoming ceremony ended with the citizens visiting the stands on the train.

Then, the social cooperatives information meeting hosted by Iskenderun Technical University started.
