The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD), Gökçedağ (Balıkesir) -Piribeyler (Bursa) station to the railway line, 18 April as reported that high voltage will be given from April.
In the statement made by TCDD, within the scope of the works for the installation of electrification facilities in Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir line section; 18 Volts of high voltage will be given to the railway line between Gökçedağ (Balıkesir) -Piribeyler (Bursa) stations as of 2019 April 27.500.
Because of the high voltage to be cut to the line, it is dangerous to travel under the electric train overhead lines, to touch the poles, to climb to the poles, to approach the conductors and to touch the wires falling to the ground.
