22 April 1924 It was decided to purchase the Anatolian line of the Parliament by the law numbered 506. With this law, which is considered as the beginning of the national railway policy, both the construction of new lines and the purchase of the lines in the hands of the companies were accepted. Lines were purchased at 1928 and parts of the Baghdad Railway that could not be completed were completed at 1940.

With the same law, the esi Anatolia and Baghdad Railways Directorate General Demir was established and the center was Haydarpaşa. Behiç (Erkin) Bey, who led the administration in the National Struggle, was appointed as the head of the administration. On the same date, the law numbered 506 was purchased for XBI and the purchase of MOSAI and Messe-buy-based Surette for the repair and improvement of the goods.
