Since the 2003 as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we have implemented very large projects to improve the transport infrastructure of our country.
Turkey's mega projects, we have equipped with four sides. We have implemented the world's largest highway projects. We have started the İstanbul-İzmir Motorway, Kuzey Marmara Motorway and Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Motorway projects. Last month, we put the Istanbul-Izmir Motorway's North and West intersections and the Akhisar-Saruhanli intersections routes into service. We have completed this giant project with a percentage of 80. Currently Istanbul-Izmir traffic dropped to 4 hours. In the next 6 month we will open the remaining segments to traffic and put the project into service.
Again in March, the Northern Marmara Motorway Çatalca-Yassıören section, Habibler-Başakşehir intersections and Kurtköy-Akyazı section of the 4. We put the sector in service. 4 is the part of the Northern Marmara Motorway which includes the Kurtköy-Port Junction and the port connection road. By opening the sector to traffic, we have provided the connection between Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Highway and the Northern Marmara Motorway and the connection between Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Osmangazi Bridge.
With the opening of Çatalca Yassıören Odayeri sector, Çatalca Istanbul Airport 13 minutes. 2 hours from Çatalca to the Anatolian Side and Kurtköy and 3 hours on peak hours, while 50 has dropped to minutes. 1915 In the last month on the Çanakkale Bridge, we assembled the steel shafts on the base of the tower caisson.
