Turkey's leading sectors leading trade fair organizers ITE organized in Turkey within the "8. International Railway, Light Rail Systems and Logistics Fair - Eurasia Rail ”was held between 10 and 12 April this year at the Fuarizmir Fair Center in Izmir. The pulse of the sector was kept at the fair where the most recent developments in the railway sector were evaluated and decision makers came together.
ALSTOM, METRO ISTANBUL, CAF, DURMAZLAR, CRRC, TÜDEMSAŞ, ASELSAN, SIEMENS, TCDD, TÜVASAŞ, HYUNDAI EUROTEM, KARDEMİR, TÜLOMSAŞ, TALGO, KNORR-BREMSE, ANSALDO STS and BOZANKAYA Companies had the opportunity to introduce prominent products and product groups at the fair, where the leading domestic and foreign brands of the sector such as the participants. TCDD General Manager Ali İhsan Uygun, who shared his views on the Present, Future and Economic Prospects session of our Railways, said, “As we know, big investments take place in periods of stability. Currently, we continue our railway operations from Kars to Edirne, from Izmir to Gaziantep, from Samsun to Adana. These are all investments arising from the need for resources. When we look at the story of the railway, we can say that it started from İzmir, where we are now. Along with the İzmir - Aydın railway line, a 4136 kilometer railway line was brought to our country before the republic. Our lines, currently under construction, are 3798 kilometers. Our total railway network has reached 12 kilometers. Turkey at a crossroads in western and eastern transport, we are linking the south with the north.
