In TÜVASAŞ, different production strategies are being followed for metro, tram, light rail, suburban and other rail system vehicles. These projects take place in the framework of joint production with international companies.
In this context, together with SIEMENS AG in 2001, 48 metro vehicles to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and 2007 (84 sets) metro vehicles to be operated between Taksim - Yenikapı by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality within the framework of joint production with South Korea Hyundai / Rotem company in 21. and 75 (25 sets) electric train set vehicles of TCDD were jointly manufactured.
The construction of the 275 vehicle of the Marmaray Project, which is one of the largest transportation infrastructure projects in the world, was also carried out within the framework of the joint production contract signed between TÜVASAŞ and Eurotem.
