The 21,4 km first phase of the Ordu Ring Road, which is designed to provide a safe and comfortable transportation service by relieving the city passage of Ordu, on Sunday, March 10,7, Mehmet Cahit Turhan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and It was put into service with a live connection with the General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
Acknowledging the people who contributed to the project, President Erdoğan said that the 40-minute inter-city traffic was reduced to 10 minutes with the opening of the ring road.
With the introduction of the road, the traffic emissions will be eliminated and the exhaust emissions of the vehicles will be reduced significantly. 21,7 million TL from the labor force and 14,6 million TL from fuel oil will be saved.
There are 2 double-tube tunnels with a total length of 2 km and 5,3 viaducts of 2 km in the part of the ring road opening to traffic in the 1 × 3 lane divided road standard.
