The Regulation on the Rights of Passengers Traveling on the Railroads of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure was published in the Official Gazette of 08 March 2019 and entered into force.

In a regulation covering the passengers on the national railway infrastructure network with a travel document and the railway train operators, agencies, stations and station operators serving them; the principles and procedures regarding the obligations of the passengers using the railway before, during and after the journey, the rights they will have in the accidents and events affecting them, the obligations and services to be fulfilled by the service providers.

Passenger rights on train delays

On the other hand, before the ticket is purchased, the passenger is informed about the delay in the voyage and if this ticket is processed, the passenger will not be able to claim compensation.
