Youth and Sport World in Bostanlı Coast

The Bostanlı stage of the coastal arrangements carried out by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the "İzmirdeniz" project has gained great popularity from the first day, especially with its theme for youth and sports. Basketball, mini football, beach volleyball, golf courses and many more sports to as well as arrangements allowing Turkey's largest skateboard parks hosting the area became youth focus of the first day.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has transformed the region into a “sports valley” within the scope of Bostanlı 2nd Stage of the coastal landscaping works. In the last part of the regulation works, in addition to the facilities that allow many sports branches, it was put into service in the 4 thousand 250 square meter “Skate Plaza” (skateboard park) where those who use wheeled sports equipment such as skateboard, scooter, BMX bike and skate will develop their skills safely. The section within the scope of the 30nd Stage, which cost approximately 2 million liras, was opened with a ceremony held on Sunday and attended by Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu. From the first day, young people interested in sports and action took their breath in Bostanlı.

International races will be held
The most important part of the project that makes a difference was the skateboard park called “Skate Plaza”.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality created this project, which was prepared in accordance with international standards, as a result of communication and collaboration with skateboarding athletes. which is one of the largest skateboard parks in Turkey, not only for young athletes was also an attractive venue for those who want to watch acrobatic performances. Skate Plaza, where sports such as skateboard, scooter, BMX bike and skate can be performed, will also be able to host international competitions.

Everybody wants a sport
In the first section between Bostanli Fisheries Shelter and Yasemin Cafe, basketball courts, mini football field, golf course sunbeds and picnic areas were built with new generation play groups. In the area opened on Sunday, 5 pieces of tennis courts, 2 pieces of table tennis, one controlled car track, children's playgrounds, exercise park, bicycle park, basketball courts, mini football fields, controlled car track, beach volleyball court, canoeing for sailors warehouse area, streetball court, picnic tables, chess tables, hıdırıllez and campfire areas and a total of 141 vehicle capacity parking lot was also put into service. 120 thousand square meters of green area, 52 thousand square meters of social reinforcement area was created in the project area of ​​58 thousand square meters. 1263 pieces tree, 6162 pieces bushes and 97 bin groundcovers planted.
