Turhan, who answered the written proposal of Islam to the Parliament by Saadet Party Istanbul Deputy Nazır Cihangir Islam, said: “Gebze-Halkalı Submarines will be operated on Line 1 and Line 2 on the Marmaray line, Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) and Automatic Train Protection (ATP) for suburban trains on Line1 and Line2, and high-speed train, main line and freight trains on Line3. The signaling system will be the European Train Control System (ETCS) and ATP. These systems are proven to be reliable in Europe, and are built by Siemens, a CR3 contractor, part of the OHL-Siemens consortium. When the signaling system tests are completed, the entire system will be commissioned after being certified by the internationally competent TUV-SUD for security. ”
