Denizli People Win with Industry Connection Bridge

Industry Connection Bridge, one of the important projects of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality that will relieve the city traffic, has saved a total of 13 thousand liters of fuel in 10 months when it was put into service while an average of 754 thousand vehicles became a transit route. Denizlu won the bridge by connecting the route between 1st and 2nd Industry and 3rd Industry and shortening it by more than 1 km.

The Industry Connection Bridge, one of the most important projects implemented by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality to end the transportation problem in the city, came into service approximately 10 months ago. The bridge, which has been used extensively since its first day of service, received full marks from the citizens, while the giant investment connected the route between 1st and 2nd Industry and 3rd Industry and shortened it by more than 1 km. While the traffic density on the Denizli-İzmir Highway with the Industry Connection Bridge is decreasing, an average of 13 thousand vehicles used the bridge daily. In the 10-month period since the Industrial Connection Bridge was opened to traffic, approximately 754.000 percent of fuel was saved with 40 liters. In addition, 135.500 kg of carbon emission into the atmosphere in direct proportion with fuel saving was prevented and its effect on air pollution was reduced.

293.850 hourly labor savings

With the investment, which shortened the route between 1st and 2nd Industry and 3rd Industry by more than 1 km, and thus reduced waiting times and increased traffic flow rate, 293.850 hours of labor gain was achieved. With the Industrial Connection Bridge connecting the two sides of the city, important contributions have been made in terms of economic, environmental and time saving of the citizens.

Goal: Minimizing transportation problems

Denizli Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan said that the Industry Connection Bridge, which is one of the most important projects they have realized in order to minimize the transportation problems of the city, fully serves its purpose. Emphasizing that the investment saves time and fuel and contributes positively to environmental problems, President Osman Zolan said: “Our goal is to minimize the problems in the field of transportation in our ever-growing and developing Sea. Our transportation projects continue to significantly reduce traffic. However, we are not done, we have more dreams and goals about this city. We will succeed them again. I hope our tomorrow will be more beautiful than today. ”
