Pauses, which are used intensively in daily life and which are the basic elements of passenger service, are being renewed. As part of the services carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Public Transport Department, the stops are modernized in order to make the citizens comfortable and safe. To this day, thousands of 250 modern stops were offered to citizens. The Metropolitan also installs temporary normal stops for the citizens not to suffer in the regions they deem necessary during the winter months. Temporary stops are then replaced by modern stops.

The modern stops established by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality are 36 meters long. In the modern stations with charging points for mobile phones and tablets, the city card loading points, the passenger information screens indicating the hours and routes of the buses, the battery powered chair charging unit for the disabled. Passengers can use the free Wi-Fi station at the stop while waiting for their bus at closed air-conditioned stops.
