Speaking at the Kahramanmaraş Rally, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, while explaining the investments made in Kahramanmaraş, gave information about the new terminal building of the airport and said:
“We built a new terminal building with a capacity of 2 million passengers”
“The passenger capacity of the existing airport in Kahramanmaraş is 400 thousand per year. The number of passengers at our airport reached 334 thousand last year. 40 thousand here. In order to make the airport befitting the capacity of Maraş, we built a new terminal building with an annual capacity of 2 million passengers. We launched this building 3 weeks ago. Since our airport is determined as a temporary border gate, there is no obstacle to opening this place to international flights. If the airline companies want to make scheduled international flights here, the infrastructure is ready. ”
Our President Erdogan was welcomed by Kahramanmaraş Governor Vahdettin Özkan, Metropolitan Mayor Fatih Mehmet Erkoç and deputies. Mehmet Ateş, our Deputy Chairman and Deputy General Manager, was also present at the meeting. (SAE)
