Kardemir's New General Manager is started

In a written statement today, General Manager Dr. Hüseyin Soykan stated that Kardemir will increase production to 3.5 million tons / year.

Esteemed members of the Board of Directors of the Board of Directors of Kardemir A.Ş. I was appointed to the General Directorate. I would like to thank the Board of Directors, who has entrusted the position of General Manager of Kardemir, the first integrated iron and steel factory in our country and the pioneer of Turkish industry. I would like to know that we will work with our strength in order to be worthy of this trust shown on behalf of all our stakeholders.

After the privatization, Kardemir, which has increased its product range with products such as heavy profile, bar and coil, has renewed its production technologies, has increased its production capacity to 2 Million tons and has become the only national brand of our country in rail and rail caster production. It is our common goal to move the company to a position that is stronger than yesterday, more competitive than yesterday, creating value for all its stakeholders more than yesterday.

As all the public is well aware, Kardemir will increase its liquid steel production capacity to 3,5 Million tons by investing in new steel casting machines and converter capacities in the Çelikhane region. We will continue our works in order to add new steel grades to the product range at Çubuk Kangal Rolling Mill.

Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Productivity, Profitability, Quality concepts will be the most important focus in all our activities. While 82 is pursuing sustainable achievements with the knowledge and experience of the annual industrial culture, as always, the trust and support of all of the Karabukes and our stakeholders will be our greatest strength.
