Snow and Landslide Fighting in Alanya

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, the high sections of Alanya, clearing the roads closed by snow and landscaping opened for transportation.

Rainy weather, which has been effective for a while in Alanya and its surroundings, has negatively affected life especially in high places. Downpour precipitation caused landslides in Taşatan and snowfall in high areas caused road closings. Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department teams immediately intervened on the roads closed with construction machinery. The family of 5 people who were buried in the mud with their vehicles in the Taşatan area was rescued by the Metropolitan Municipality teams. The teams worked all day in Taşatan. Roads closed due to landslides and snow were opened. Local residents were reconnected with the district.

ROCK FALLING THE ROAD REMOVED
Snow removal was also carried out in Alanya Gedevet Plateau Road. The intensive work of the highland road Metropolitan teams was opened to transportation again. In Uzunöz Mahallesi, the rock falling on the road due to landslide blocked transportation. The teams removed the rock from the road as a result of intensive work with the construction machines and the transportation to the neighborhood was restored. The landslide formed on the Fakırcalı-Sapadere- Beyreli group road was removed and the road was opened to traffic.
