Cahit TURHAN stated that the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge will connect the two sides of the Çanakkale Strait, which is twice the length of the Bosphorus, and said, “When the bridge is completed, the most important service, industry and tourism center of our country and Thrace, our favorite Western Anatolian Region. The economic and social life in will become much more attractive. ”

Stating that caisson immersion is one of the most troublesome stages in bridge construction, TURHAN stated that 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which was built with a Public-Private cooperation model, is one of the biggest projects of our country with an investment amount of 3 billion 100 million Euros.

Pointing that the one-hour journey by ferry will be reduced to 4 minutes with this bridge, TURHAN said, “In this way, we will also ensure that the ongoing Gebze - İzmir and Edirne - Kınalı - Istanbul - Ankara Motorways, İzmir - Aydın and Marmara and Aegean Regions are integrated. " said.

With the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, TURHAN will integrate the port, railway, air transportation systems and road transportation network in the Marmara and Aegean Region, where the vitality of the country's economy and a significant part of the population live; He said that European Union countries and especially Bulgaria and Greece based cargo movements will reach Aegean, Western Anatolia and Western Mediterranean quickly.

1915 Çanakkale Bridge is within the scope of Malkara-Çanakkale Section of Kınalı-Tekirdağ-Çanakkale-Savaştepe Highway, which is projected with a total length of 324 km.
