Under the leadership of Durmazlar Company, which is manufacturing in Bursa, an agreement was made between 3 and Istanbul company Yılmaz Reductor, sister company ELK Motor and ASELSAN company from Ankara to design and produce local tram traction system. The project was carried out within the scope of TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB project and was completed successfully.

As a result of this project, Durmazlar produced a hundred percent local tram. The engine ELK, gear box Yilmaz Reducer, the driver produced by Aselsan chassis and bogi traction system of the local tram and the whole system integration was made by Durmazlar.

Yilmaz Gear, the first domestic tram engines produced in Turkey and is proud to produce the gear box. Produced engine and transmission group has a very special design. Bogi is the first movement of the tram. This engine with 110 kW provides movement with eight transmissions in one group.

Previously, the whole system was imported from abroad. Now you don't have to. This product, which is quite expensive, is now available at far more favorable prices and at a price of 1 / 4, completely domestic and national.

Yilmaz Reducer attaches great importance to R & D and also carries out projects such as increasing the gear life and load carrying capabilities with alternative gear materials, drive integrated motor, Internet of Things, high efficiency endless screws.
