The 36th Elective Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association (UTİKAD) was held on 29 November 2018 at Istanbul Crowne Plaza Hotel Florya with high participation.
After the elections held at the General Assembly, Emre Eldener was re-elected president. UTİKAD President Eldener said, “We would like to thank our members for re-awarding us for this task. In the new period, our efforts for the integration of business manners in the Turkish logistics industry to the world will continue at full speed. ”
At the 36th Elective Ordinary General Assembly of the International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association (UTİKAD), UTİKAD Chairman of the Board Emre Eldener was re-elected as the chairman. Following the elections held at the General Assembly, which was held with the intense participation of UTİKAD members, President Emre Eldener thanked all the members.
36th Elective Ordinary General Assembly Meeting started with the speech of UTİKAD Chairman Emre Eldener. In his speech, Eldener shared his evaluations about the logistics industry with the participants. Underlining that UTİKAD members are competent actors of the Turkish logistics industry, Eldener said, “The logistics industry is one of the building blocks of our country's economy. Thanks to the rapidly increasing infrastructure works in recent years, we have also taken great steps to become an international hub. Despite the fluctuation in our economy, we will continue to grow rapidly. ” said.
Underlining that UTIKAD is working in many areas despite the challenging conditions in the logistics industry and has achieved positive results, Eldener shared the activities carried out in 2018 with the members after his speech. After the annual activity report was read, the reports of the audit committee were released and the budgets were approved.

At the General Assembly Meeting, the companies that completed their 20th years as members of the association were presented with their mattresses. AHMET KARTAL SUCCESS AWARDS DISTRIBUTED
The achievement award given to the honor of the late Ahmet Kartal, which made significant contributions to the logistics sector, was given to the 3-2017 training period department students of the 2018 separate school this year.
