Since the 2003 as the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we have implemented very large projects to improve the transport infrastructure of our country. Turkey's mega projects, we have equipped with four sides.
With the largest highway projects in the world, we are not only creating inter-urban highway ringings. With the realization of the projects of the world-famous Istanbul-Izmir Motorway, Northern Marmara Motorway and Kinali-Tekirdag-Canakkale-Savastepe Highway, we commence the Marmara Highway Ring. We will have the whole of Istanbul-Izmir Motorway in the summer months of next year.
With the completion of the Gebze-Orhangazi-Izmir Motorway, Edirne-Kınalı-İstanbul-Ankara Motorway is integrated with the İzmir-Aydın Motorway. It will be connected to the Aegean region by the motorway network. We will also complete the motorway ring of the Marmara Region along with the North Marmara Motorway and Malkara-Çanakkale (including 1915 Çanakkale Bridge) Motorway Section. Malkara-Çanakkale Motorway and 2022 Çanakkale Bridge, which will be put into service in March of 1915; which is the most developed regions of Turkey's economy and Marmara where a significant part of the population and harbors in the Aegean Region, will be providing rail and road transportation projects with the integration of the air transport system.
This is a service race and will be instrumental in the unity, togetherness and brotherhood of our country and our nation.
