The strike started yesterday in İzmir Banliyo Sistemleri (İZBAN), which provides service between the Aliağa-Selçuk line in İzmir, as an agreement could not be reached in the collective bargaining agreement.
After the strike decision of the employees of İZBAN, only between Çiğli and Adnan Menderes Airport, 24 expeditions will be organized with the help of mechanics outside a strike.
In a statement, “İZBAN organizes flights during peak hours in order to reduce the suffering caused by the strike. The flights, which start as a limited capacity every 24 minutes between Çiğli and Adnan Menderes Airport, which are the regions with the highest number of passengers, are realized with the mechanic outside the scope of the strike. Expeditions are held between 06.30 and 11.00, 16.00 and 22.00 ”.
