IDO Will Continue to Domestic Flights

Announcing that it will stop domestic flights on December 1, Istanbul Sea Buses Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (IDO) gave up this decision.

This decision of İDO was announced on the flights made on Friday. İDO officials also noted that negotiations with the relevant persons and institutions are continuing, and that the flights will continue in order not to make passengers suffer in this process.

IDO had announced that it would stop the flights due to the increasing costs and the failure to keep some promises made to them. İDO announced on 14 November that it would cease domestic flights, except for the Sirkeci-Harem line, as of December 1, and this decision caused public reactions. On the other hand, high-speed light cruise ships named IDO, Oruç Reis, Kaptan Pasha and Seydi Ali Reis were put up for sale for 2 million dollars each.
