The opening ceremony of 82, which was given to Arnavutköy, was held in a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mevlüt Uysal. Speaking at the ceremony Uysal, ys Gayrettepe, Halkalı and three big metro lines from Vezneciler said that Arnavutköy will jump on the way of transportation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Uysal said, “In the last period, important works have been brought to Arnavutköy,” Arnavutköy is looking forward to the future. Because Istanbul Airport, which is the pride of not only our city but also our country, is here. Kanal Istanbul, the project of the century, will pass through this district. Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and Northern Marmara Motorway connect our district from Europe to Asia. With these projects, the value of Arnavutköy is increasing day by day. Work continues on 3 metro lines that will connect Arnavutköy to the centers of Istanbul. Gayrettepe, Halkalı and three major metro lines from Vezneciler, Arnavutköy will skip the era of transportation ve.
Pointing out that Arnavutköy is the shining star of Istanbul, Uysal said,, With the 82 work we opened today and future investments, Arnavutköy will be one of the most precious and beautiful districts of Istanbul. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are happy to take part in this opening with our works which constitute one fourth of the total investment amount. These investments include city parks, roads, intersections and viaducts, parking and sacrificial slaughtering. The total cost of these investments is 126 million TL Bu.
