The Metro Works in Kağıthane Has Ended

Kağıthane, located in the middle of Istanbul, is the central district for transportation with new metro lines.

Kağıthane has literally reversed its distant perception of the city with the last 14 transportation investments. With its new metro, metrobus and road transport networks, Kağıthane further strengthened its advantage of being in the middle of Istanbul.

Nowadays, 2 new metro lines are being built in Kağıthane. Gayrettepe- Kağıthane Merkez -İstanbul Airport and Mahmutbey- Nurtepe-Kağıthane Merkez-Çağlayan –Mecidiyeköy- Kabataş The construction of the metro lines will be completed in the new year and will be put into service.

Kağıthane Mayor Fazlı Kılıç toured the site together with his assistants and Mevlüt Öztekin, the AK Party Kağıthane District President, in order to examine the recent works on the construction of the subway lines.
