Turkey's longest and engaged in one of the most fabled Orient Express train service, completes the journey that began in Kars from Ankara.
Eastern Express departs from Ankara Station every day at 17.55. The next day at 18.30 arrives at Kars Station. The journey takes about 24.5 hours. Expeditions from Kars start every day at 08.00.
The Eastern Express service offered by TCDD Tasimacilik AS offers a “magnificent and fabulous” travel experience at prices ranging from 48 lira to 188 lira.
Discount tickets are also available for the Eastern Express. A round-trip ticket and a N Young Ticket lar receive a discount of 20. Discounts are available to young people of age at 13-26. Apart from this, teachers, soldiers, groups of 12, 60 passengers over the age, press card and TCDD employees or retirees are offered the opportunity to discount 20 percent.
