The breeding activities for Gülveren Creek in Polatlı, which caused floods in the rainy weather as well as the disturbing smell emitted to the environment, were accelerated.
Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Assoc. Dr. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tuna's instructions were initiated by the General Director of ASKI. Dr. Cumali Kınacı, examined on-site.
THE COMPLAINT OF CITIZENS LIVING IN POLATLI
In order to meet the water and sewerage needs of Polatlı district, Kınacı met with the headmen in May and stated that the meeting will take action for the pollution in the Gülveren Creek brought by the citizens living in the district.
Going to the Gülveren Creek and on-site investigations Kınacı, the smell of the creek and mosquito spread human and environmental health has a negative impact on the problem, he said.
WASTE OPERATIONS NEAR FOLLOW
Stone masonry was initiated by ASKI in the settlement area of Gülveren Creek between the Agricultural Exchange-Mevlana Street and the Youth Street-High Speed Line between the 5 and 500 meters.
Kınacı stated that the completion of the 800 meter was completed in January and that it was planned to be completed in January at the latest.
POLATLI WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT HAS BEEN COMPLETED
In the year of 2014, the Waste Water Treatment Plant within the borders of Polatlı District, which was tendered by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, was completed.
General Manager of ASKİ Dr. Cumali Kınacı also visited the completed Waste Water Treatment Plant and received information from the authorities.
The facility will discharge to the Gülveren Creek the domestic wastewater formed in and around the district of Polatlı. The discharged water will be used by farmers living in the area in the agricultural area. In this way, both the country's economy will win and the ecological balance will not be broken.
