Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's arrival in Diyarbakir 81. anniversary celebrated with a ceremony. Governor Hasan Basri Güzeloğlu, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Mayor Cumali Atilla, 7. Commander of the Corps and Garrison Lieutenant General Sinan Yayla, Regional Gendarmerie Commander Major General Halis Zafer Koç, Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor Kamil Erkut Güre, Rector of Dicle University Dr. Talip Gul, Deputy Governors, District Governors, military and civilian men, veterans and many teachers, students and citizens attended.
The program started with the arrival of the train train. Then the Diyarbakır Garage Building was prevented. Merve Akman, one of the students, read the poem 'Unity'. The speech was made by the Governor Güzeloğlu about the meaning and importance of the day. Then, Sur Halk Eğitim Merkezi İskenderpaşa Primary School Minikler Halkoyunları team exhibited traditional folk dances of our region.
A wreath was presented to the Atatürk Monument
After the ceremony at the railway station, a wreath presentation ceremony was held at Anıtpark. The ceremony, which started with the presentation of wreaths to the Atatürk Monument, ended with the reading of the National Anthem.
