Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is extending the Akçaray Tram Line which runs between Otogar and Sekapark Science Center from Sekapark to the Beach Road. The first stage of the project is divided into two stages. Within the scope of the study reaching the schools district, the culvert is implemented on the creek in the region. At the last station of the first stage, excavations are carried out. Rail laying applications have been completed up to Seka Hospital area. The rails were poured. Asphalt preparations are made in this section. Sidewalk and single lane road arrangement is also done in the route. When the first stage is completed, the second stage will be started.
4 NEW STATION
The new station will be built in the Sekapark-Plajyolu section of the Akçaray tram line, which is frequently preferred by the citizens in daily use. Even stations with a length of 4 km will be located at Seka State Hospital, Convention Center, Schools District and Beachway. . Seka State Hospital with a thousand 2,2 meters lar. In the continuation of the project, the second part of the 600 meter will be implemented.
NEW LINES INTEGRATED
On the other hand, the tram line is spreading throughout the city. According to the project, which was previously awarded, three new lines, including 8 kilometers, will be integrated in the Kuruçeşme, Şehir Hospital and Alikahya stadiums. The Kuruçeşme line will be connected to the Paljyolu tram line by extending the 1 mileage. Alikahya Stadium line will also reach the current line in Yahya Captain by reaching the 3 thousand 500 meters.
