The Brussels-based International Association of Public Transporters (UITP), the world's largest non-governmental organization in the public transport sector, has examined driverless subway lines, which are more than 500 at one time, worldwide. Accordingly, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality opened the Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy / Sancaktepe driverless subway line, leaving behind such cities as Paris, Rome and Barcelona, ​​becoming third in the first world in Europe.
