Van Metropolitan Municipality Council with the decision taken by students and personalized public transport BELVAN cards will not receive a visa fee. Parliament also reduced the card fees from 6 TL to 4 TL.
Metropolitan Municipality 'October Assembly Meeting' was held under the chairmanship of Van Governor and Deputy Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu. Many issues were discussed during the meeting. In addition, the Governor Murat Zorluoğlu'na evaluated the demands of citizens at the assembly meeting in the form of good news on public transport decisions were taken.
It was decided not to charge the visa fee of 4 TL taken annually from BELVAN student and personalized cards and to decrease the first BELVAN Card fees from 6 TL to 4 TL. At the meeting, it was decided to remove the voice toll announcement system on the buses, and it was decided to terminate the hand fare period in private public buses starting from October 15.
In the meeting, apart from transportation issues, zoning and other agenda items were also discussed and resolved.
