Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation supervised the means of public transport in Akhisar. During the coordinated inspections carried out together with the traffic police, criminal proceedings were applied to the drivers of vehicles not in compliance with the legislation.
Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Transportation, which continues its inspection activities to maximize the satisfaction of citizens, has checked the vehicles that provide public transportation services in Akhisar. During the coordinated inspections carried out with the traffic police, 40 vehicle drivers who did not comply with the legislation were punished. Providing information about the inspections carried out, Metropolitan Municipality Public Transportation Branch Manager Mustafa Çetin said, “We continue our inspections throughout the province in order to enable our citizens to travel more safely and comfortably. In this context, we carried out inspections in all public transportation vehicles from school and personnel transportation to commercial taxis in Akhisar district. In these inspections, criminal proceedings were applied to the drivers of vehicles that are not in compliance with the legal legislation. ” Public Transport Branch Manager Mustafa Çetin and the teams under the head of department visited Sezgin Gazi, Deputy Director of the Head Office of the Metropolitan Municipality Akhisar Headquarters, after they did not audit.
