Transport between Deutsche Bahn Siegburg and Montabaur, the German Railway Operator, said it was closed. In the high-speed train that set off from Frankfurt to Cologne, heavy smoke and rising flames caused panic. 510 passengers inside the train were evacuated. Due to the dense fire smoke, high-speed train services were suspended on the A3 line for a while.
