The former head of the Russian Railways, former Road Minister Gennadiy Fadeyev, said that wagons, prepared for the talks of Russian President Vladimir Putin, were prepared in accordance with the security requirements of the Federal Protection Agency (FSO), taking into account all security conditions.

A photograph of a wagon where Putin sat with Fadeyev was published in the Kremlin website in 2003. In the photo, a green-covered table, curtains different from those of ordinary wagons and a phone were seen.

Speaking to Sputnik, Fadeyev said that the wagon seen in the photo is an ordinary wagon prepared for the Russian president.

Fadeyev said, “It is added to the train especially for the president. At the request of FSO, they are prepared taking into consideration the full security conditions and the work to be done as head of state. ”

Fadeyev stated that they went to the south of the country together with the President of the time Boris Yeltsin with a private wagon in 1996 and stated that the wagons used by Putin were more modern.

Fadeyev explained what they talked about with Putin at the table: “Innovations about Ladojskiy train station infrastructure were made, we went to its opening. We traveled 8 hours and 30 minutes. The weather was beautiful, passengers and citizens thanked for this new and different station. The head of state wrote 'congratulations' about the station in his guestbook. ”
