Our club has been supported as much as possible in order to make its sporting achievements and existence sustainable in every field, all kinds of facilities have been mobilized to improve its infrastructure, establish and create permanent financial resources for the club.
While this fact is evident with all its nakedness, it is not conscientious and acceptable to create a false perception that it does not provide any support to our club for our Company and Board of Directors in public.
It is well known to all the public that Kardemir A.Ş has reached today, both through the privatization process and after the privatization. Our management has been striving to grow Kardemir A.Ş. in accordance with the scale economy since 1995, when it was privatized, to improve its technological infrastructure, to provide product diversity and has made millions of dollars of investments for this purpose. It is also known to the public who know this sector very well that these investments are not necessities but arbitrariness. If Kardemir A.Ş. If it will continue its existence in this sector, it cannot survive this growth process. Of course, this growth process cannot be purely production oriented. As a matter of fact, Kardemir A.Ş. In this growth process, it has tried to sustain environmental and social investments simultaneously.
A significant portion of our environmental investments have been completed, and the reasons for the delay in our ongoing environmental investments, which are mentioned from time to time, also stemmed from the crises in the sector, as is well known to those who know this sector. As previously committed to the public, our environmental investments within the framework of the work schedule given to the Ministry of Environment and Karabük Municipality will be completed by the end of this year.
Kardemir Inc. It is the lifeblood of the economic and social life of Karabük province and its people. Our Board of Directors acts with this sensitivity and fulfills all kinds of obligations within the framework of social responsibility.
During this growth process, schools and sports facilities such as Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Iron and Steel Institute, R & D Center, Indoor Sports Hall were completed and donated to Karabük University. and non-governmental organizations in kind and in cash, contributed to many social, cultural and scientific activities realized both in Karabük University and in our province.
Finally, Anadolu Imam Hatip with 15.500 classrooms in Yenişehir Mahallesi, on a plot of 2 m4 owned by our company, consisting of 16 blocks, with a conference hall, dining hall, dormitories and laboratories and all social equipment and has been spent approximately 32 million TL so far. High school has been brought to the completion stage and this year, which will be offered to the service of National Education, will spend approximately 3,5 million TL.
In the employment campaign initiated last year by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our company has been at the forefront and 419 has recruited new personnel. In addition, among the candidates whose interviews have been completed in recent weeks, new personnel will be employed in line with our need as of next week.
As for Karabukspor, as stated at the beginning, our Company and Board of Directors did not avoid any sacrifice about Karabukspor.
The advertising cost of the shirt, which was given to Karabukspor by our company only between 2009-2018, reached TL 35.900.000. In addition, 5.384.190 TL was donated to our club this season. In addition, the support given to our customers over commodity sales is only 3 TL in the last 2015 years (2016, 2017 and 14.740.318). Again, the amount of donations made from the salaries of our employees every month was 2009-TL in the period of 2018-4.368.730, and a total of 3.556.270-TL was added to the employer share of 7.925.000-TL.
In order for Karabükspor to continue its existence and its sportive success, Metin Türker Sports Complex and Additional Facilities, Hasan Doğan Facilities were built and put into service by our company together with all its equipment.
By ignoring all these social responsibility activities and supports, Kardemir A.Ş., which is 100% publicly traded and traded on the stock exchange and has more than 80 thousand shareholders, is legally and conscientiously able to meet the new demand of over 50 million TL for Karabukspor. it is not. In addition, unfair attacks and accusations against our company and management board on social media are not acceptable. Besides, our company will pay a total of 2019 million TL to Karabukspor, which is 2020 million TL each year for three football seasons covering the years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 8-24.
Since 2009, the support provided to Karabükspor is over 100 million TL.
As can be seen, Kardemir A.Ş. He fulfilled his duty of social responsibility. This support should not only remain on Kardemir A.Ş. and should be installed by all stakeholders of the city.
On the other hand, the 0,2 rate of donation, which was deducted from the commodity sales made by our company, was terminated in line with the warning of the Capital Markets Board.
As a result; For the four football seasons between 2016 and 2018, between 2019-2019, 2020-2020, which is signed between our company and Kardemir Karabükspor Club, there are a total of 2021 Million TL Advertising and Name Rights Agreements each year. and the fact that our company will continue to pay these payments until the end of 2021, and the donation budget accepted in the Financial General Assembly held in March 2022 for 8 was used for our other social responsibility activities, especially for the construction of Anatolian Imam Hatip High School.
