In Izmit city transportation, free transfer application is started by private public buses by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Public Transportation Department in order to provide our citizens with faster transportation. Within this application; No. 56 GÜLTEPE - YAHYA KAPTAN line was canceled. Instead, lines 55 - 126 and 138 will work with free transfer.

With the new arrangement, citizens; Since line 55 will operate as ring services between TÜYUZUZLER STORAGE AREA - BEYHAN - GÜLTEPE - CUMHURİYET PARK, our citizens who want to go in the direction of YAHYA KAPTAN and OTOGAR will have a CD of 126 and 138. They will be able to take a free transfer from the SAFETY station.

Citizens who use public transportation will be able to get on the 126th line vehicles at the CUMHURİYET PARK STOP, using the Line 138, from Yahyakaptan and from the line 55, from OTOGAR to GÜLTEPE - BEYHAN direction.
96 NO.LU BEACHY - YAHYA KAPTAN LINE CANCELED
LINES 96 - 72 and 95 will run as FREE TRANSFER instead of the canceled line 126 BEACH - YAHYA KAPTAN line. With the new arrangement, the route of the line No. 72 has been changed as “ÇENESUYU” to the last stop and our citizens who will go to YAHYA KAPTAN direction are LEYLA ATAKAN CD. They will be able to get on line 126 on the SECURITY STOP free of charge. Our citizens who will go to the beach by using the line number 126 will be able to get on the line vehicles number 72 and 95 with free transfer at the CUMHURİYET PARK station.
Both new applications will start from 17 September 2018 Monday.
