Pre-Opening of Harameyn High Speed ​​Train Project

The preliminary opening of the Harameyn High Speed ​​Train Project was held at a ceremony covering the Jeddah and Medina High Speed ​​Train Stations, which was undertaken by the construction of the Building Center with the attendance of the King of Saudi Arabia, Selman Bin Abdülaziz.

During the ceremony held in Jeddah Station, Yapı Merkezi İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. Sami Özge ARIOĞLU, the General Manager, and Mehmet DEMİRER, the Deputy General Manager responsible for the Qualified Building Group, and the project top management, Mecca Regional Governor Prince Halit Bin Faisal and his deputy Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar, the Governor of Jeddah Prince Mishaal Bin Majid, the Minister of Transport, in particular. Many ministers of Saudi Arabia, including Nabil Al Amoudi, President of the Public Transport Administration. Rumaih Al Rumaih, employer officials and many invitees from various state levels were present. Following the ceremony, he left the Jeddah station by taking the train to travel between King Jeddah and Medina stations.

The Haramain High-Speed ​​Train Project (HHR), one of the most important railway investments undertaken by the State of Saudi Arabia, was planned to serve the Islamic world by facilitating the journeys of pilgrims, Umrah visitors and Saudi citizens. It is a high-speed railway project that connects the two sacred cities of Mecca and Medina with the 450 km railway line and includes stations (Mecca, Jeddah, KAEC, Medina).

Yapı Merkezi has undertaken the construction of the Madina Station under the Haramain High Speed ​​Train Project and was completed successfully by completing it as soon as possible among the four stations. Due to its success at Medina Station, Yapı Merkezi was commissioned by the employer to complete the remaining work of Jeddah station and construction works were started after the contract signed on March 01, 2018.
