Eurasia Rail International Railway, Light Rail Systems, Infrastructure and Logistics Fair is preparing to host the leading names of the world railway sector in Izmir on 10-12 April 2019.
Eurasia Rail, the only one in the Eurasia region and one of the 3 largest railway fairs in the world, will be brought to the agenda with the latest innovations, developments and technologies, and conferences to be held simultaneously with the fair.
At Eurasia Rail, where there will be important participants from countries such as Germany, France, Czech Republic, China, Italy and Russia, Siemens, Alstom, Yapıray, Ministry of Transport, TCDD and its affiliates, Bozankaya, Bombardier, Knorr Bremse, Metro Istanbul, Metro Izmir, Caf, Kardemir and Aselsan, Yapı Merkezi will participate in the leading companies of the sector.

While the investments of European countries continue in order to increase the modernization and transportation capacity in railways, our country also finds very serious targets and investments in this direction. In this context, a serious target has been set in our country, such as increasing the railway network to 25 thousand kilometers. High-speed train investments are of particular importance in achieving this goal, and it is aimed to connect 2023 provinces where 77 percent of the country's population lives by a high-speed rail network by 42. It is planned that 3 thousand 500 kilometers will be high-speed and 8 thousand 500 kilometers will be high-speed train lines. In addition, 1.000 km of new railways, including 13.000 km of conventional rail, are aimed to reach a total rail length of 2023 km in 25.000. On the other hand, the completion of the renewal of all lines by renewing 4.400 km of lines, the share of rail transport; Increasing to 10 percent in passenger and 15 percent in cargo is also among the targets. With our Eurasia Rail fair, where we have brought together the leading sector representatives of the world since 2011, we aim to contribute to the sector reaching these valuable targets. "
Underlining that Eurasia Rail is the only Eurasia region and one of the three biggest railway fairs in the world, Benbanaste also gave information about the fair that will be held in April.
