Üsküdar-Yamanevler Metro Expeditions Are Resumed

First stage of Turkey's first driverless metro which Üsküdar-Yamanevler Line in the second stage, which Yamanevler-Çekmeköy / Sancaktepe line were interrupted from time to integration tests. The Üsküdar-Yamanevler section of the subway without driver has started to operate again since 06.00. The second stage (Yamanevler-Çekmeköy / Sancaktepe) will be open soon.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has completed the first stage of the test drives for the integration of the second stage of Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe Metro Line between Yamanevler-Sancaktepe, which provides driverless service.

TRANSPORTATION FROM SANCAKTEPE TO ÜSKÜDAR 27 MINUTES

With the extension of Üsküdar-Yamanevler Metro, which currently serves at the 9 station, to Sancaktepe, even the 7 station will be added. The line that will serve at 16 station will be extended to 20 kilometers.

After the completion of the works, transportation from Sancaktepe to Üsküdar will be provided in just 27 minutes.

65 thousand in one direction per hour, 700 thousand passengers per day will have the capacity to carry the metro line with the annual 15 thousand 424 vehicles will be withdrawn from traffic. The annual 77 will reduce the emission of thousand 246 tonnes of carbon dioxide.
