Expansion Works Continue on Salim Dervişoğlu Street

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality continues its double road works in Salim Dervişoğlu Street. While the expansion works continue in the eastern part of the road, the expansion between the first step bridge and the Kahya women's street is being carried out. Within the scope of the project, the existing bridge over the Kumla Creek will be demolished and replaced with a new one.

NEW BRIDGE TO BE MADE
In this part of the ground improvement works, the new bridge of 60 meters long 20 meters will be constructed instead of the Kumla Bridge which will be demolished. To the west of the channel on the small bridge next to the 11 meter-wide 17 meters long additional bridge will be made. Rain water and filling work in the ongoing work of the old bridge after the collapse of the piling applications will begin.

2 SHAPE 2 STRIP
Salim Dervişoğlu Street, which forms an alternative transportation route to the D-100, will become more functional with the work done. After the street work will serve as a double way. The duplex roadway includes the section between 42 Evler and Çuhane Street. Once the run is complete, the path segment in this range will be 2 cross 2 strip. Project applications are planned to be completed within 400 days. 4 thousand 950 meters of road section 42 XnumX meters between the Houses-First Step Bridge, the first step from the bridge to the Çuhane Street is done in the width of the 17 meter.

DUBLE ROAD
In the coastal region of Izmit, the Salim Dervişoğlu Street, which extends in the east-west direction, is turned into a double road. The street, which is currently used as a single lane departure, will serve as two lanes after the double road work. The road which is used as a coastal road will become an alternative transportation route after being converted into a double road.
