THE INSURANCE VATMAN OF THE YEARS 1950 FOR THE FIGURE
A rigorous study was carried out in the construction of the historical Vatman figure. IETT archive scans were carried out for two months. Since the years with 1950 reflect the most iconic and characteristic period of Beyoğlu tram, Vatman photos and costumes of these years were examined in detail. At the end of all these research and development works, a homeland figure was created by adhering to the photos and portraits of the period in the IETT archive. The costume was copied from the uniform of 1950; hat specially produced. The IETT logo and registration number on the costume is custom made from brass. The construction of the figure lasted about 8 months.
