The foundation of Karakoyun Viaduct and Köprülü Intersection, whose expropriation and demolition processes have been completed by the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, is laid.
Evaluating the project before the groundbreaking ceremony to be held tomorrow, President Nihat Çiftçi said that their goal is to create a seamless infrastructure of Şanlıurfa in traffic.
In order to eliminate transportation problems in Şanlıurfa, the Metropolitan Municipality, which has greatly relieved the traffic by making steel bridges, boulevards and bridged junctions, is laying the foundation of Karakoyun Viaduct and Köprülü Junction, where it has completed its expropriation works in 187 households.
Karakoyun Viaduct and Bridge Crossing, which will be of vital importance for the transit of Gaziantep highway as well as for the Suleymaniye, Ak Şemsettin, Hızmalı, Karakoyun and Buhara districts, will be completed in 180 days and will be served to the public.
Stating that their goal is a problem-free Şanlıurfa, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Nihat Çiftçi said, “As the Metropolitan cadres who love the city, we also accelerate the construction of Köprülü intersection when we say steel bridges, new road connections and boulevards. In this sense, Karakoyun Viaduct and Köprülü Junction will have a very important place in Şanlıurfa traffic.
I am a follower of the project, and our construction will continue quickly after the groundbreaking. ”The basic throwing ceremony will be held on July 25 (Tomorrow) at the project work area on İpekyol Boulevard.
