Antalya Metropolitan Municipality is implementing reforms in public transportation. Finally, the Antalya-Kas route under the same roof, independent companies working under the same roof for quality service, a systematic application for trades began.
Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail System Department carries out new moves from center to countryside in all transportation networks in order to provide safe, comfortable and uninterrupted public transportation services for citizens.
Service quality increased
Consultations with Kumluca Cicek Tur, Kumluca Travel Tour and West Antalya Tour cooperatives serving in the western districts of Antalya, and the Transportation Department of the Department of Transportation Planning and Rail System in line with the demands of the transportation tradesmen, have reconciled these three companies under one roof. With the system put into practice, vehicles are working in the same route in the common rotation. In this way, it was prevented to decrease the quality of service with the images obtained from passengers grabbing, friction and fight between companies. With the introduction of a transportation system with an integration and solidarity instead of unfair competition, instead of small vehicles, services were started with seven and a half meter comfortable vehicles.
Both citizen and artisan satisfied
West Antalya Tourism Travel Chairman of the Board of Directors Mehmet Keskin expressed that they prefer such a work program with the understanding of competition among the companies and to provide better quality service to the passengers. Since there is no working system under equal conditions, there is a discrepancy between them and this is reflected in the service quality. Together with the new system, we switched to comfortable vehicles with more capacity than small vehicles. The number of vehicles fell, but the number of seats increased. Here, both our transportation tradesmen are very satisfied and our passengers. In the middle of the friction incompatibility is over, the hours are increased.
