AB buys Rotech to expand ABB Automotive Welding Solutions

ABB acquires AB Rotech, a private Bursa-based company that provides robotic welding solutions and services to the automotive industry with nearly 20 years of extensive experience. The experience of AB Rotech's engineering team covers all steps of the robotic welding cycle, from design to commissioning, from electrical engineering to customer service. The parties agreed not to disclose the financial value of the purchase. The purchase will be finalized after completing official approvals this year.

This acquisition will expand ABB's portfolio of robotic resource solutions and capabilities that it offers to all growing segments of the automotive industry.
