The 2018 3rd Term Provincial Coordination Board meeting, where public investment works carried out in Gaziantep were evaluated, was held under the presidency of Deputy Governor Uğur Aladağ. The meeting was dominated by the Cemetery Junction and whether Gaziray would include the airport. DDY Regional Deputy Director Halil Dönmez asked Highways 5th Regional Deputy Director Suat Bağrıaçık when the work at the cemetery junction would be completed. Bağrıaçık said that they were planning to complete it by the holiday if TEDAŞ cleared the way. Metropolitan Municipality Aykome Branch Manager Gazi Kördeve said, “TEdaş is currently carrying out a lighting work there. TEDAŞ provided two more teams. TEDAŞ will be leaving there next Friday.”
Deputy Governor Uğur Aladağ said that ministries are decreasing, most ministries are merged, investments and services will continue. Stating that the national real estate, the general directorate of local administrations and TOKI have been added to the environment ministry, Aladağ stated that in 2018, a total of 346 projects were carried out in our province, 414 of them belonging to general and special budget organizations and 760 of them by local administrations. Aladağ said, "The total value of these projects is 10 million 43 million TL, the expenditure of previous years is 3 billion 533 million TL, the appropriation for 2018 is 1 billion 797 million TL, and the total expenditure made by the end of the period is 1 billion 480 million TL."
Stating that the budgets of the 346 projects carried out by the institutions with general budget are 6 billion 452 million TL and the previous years' expenditure was 1 billion 594 million TL, Deputy Governor Uğur Aladağ said, “The 2018 allowance is 1 billion 143 million TL, the expenditure made by the end of the period is 914 million 852 thousand. It was realized in TL. In realization, cash realization is 80 percent and physical realization is on average 52 percent. ”

Providing information about the projects carried out by local administrations, Aladağ said: “The total budget of the 414 projects being carried out is 3 billion 591 million TL; the expenditure in previous years was 1 billion 938 million TL; the allocation for 2018 is 655 million TL; the expenditure as of the end of the period was 566 million TL. In the studies, cash realization is 91 percent; physical realization is at the level of 60 percent on average. When we look at the projects that concern more than one province, the total project major loads of our 6 projects are 1 billion 238 million TL; the expenditure in previous years was 610 million TL; the allocation for 2018 is 24 million TL; the expenditure as of the end of the period is 12 million 500 thousand TL.
Highways 5th District Assistant Director Suat Bağrıaçık gave information about the projects. During his speech, Bağrıaçık said that there are minor problems regarding the displacement of TEDAŞ transport lines. Railroad deputy district manager asked Bağrıaçık when the work at the cemetery crossroads would be terminated. Assistant Manager Halil Dönmez said, “The highways are currently using our Gaziray route. His period is expiring as of this month. Now we will start laying the railway superstructure there. In this sense, I demand that it be accelerated. ”
Bağrıaçık said, “Our problem there is not about the project, but about the works. We had great difficulties in displacement there. Sewerage, drinking water, telephone, tedaş etc. lines. If TEDAŞ paves our way for our work today, we are thinking of raising it on holidays. But if we cannot find an environment to cultivate, it will remain in the version for a while ”.
Metropolitan Municipality Aykome Branch Manager Gazi Kördeve took the floor and said, “Our general secretary held a meeting in the field where Suat called the brain. Displacement is all over. A lighting study is currently underway by Tedaş. Two more teams were given by TEDAŞ. TEDAŞ will come out there next Friday. ”
Railways Deputy Regional Director gave information about Gaziray, which will serve between Başpınar-Oduncular site. At the end of the presentation, Oğuzeli Mayor Sait Kılıç asked if Gaziray would reach the airport. Kılıç said, “If an integrated transportation is planned, it should be included in this integrated transportation system both in the airport and the metro at the international airport of Oğuzeli, which was included in the central district in 2004 from the metropolitan area. The airport has a capacity of 3 million passengers and is expected to increase to 10 million annually with the development of the airport. I think it should be at the airport in an integrated transportation facility that is considered within the scope of metropolitan in a center where there are so many passengers. ”
Deputy Governor Uğur Aladağ said, “For an integrated transportation system, it should include the bus station and the airport. This project is a project that will survive the term of transportation to Gaziantep. It is a very important project in terms of easing the traffic in the city and the speed of intercity transportation. ”
