Istanbullular Attention! Nine Days of Transportation for a Driverless Subway Line

Works for the second phase of Üsküdar- Ümraniye- Çekmeköy Metro Line have accelerated. Due to the test drive for the new driverless subway line, transportation will be suspended for 9 days.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is implementing many projects in Istanbul with the slogan 'Metro Everywhere, Metro Everywhere'. In this context, it will conduct a test drive for the second phase of Üsküdar- Ümraniye- Çekmeköy Metro Line .;

DRIVER METRO TEST DRIVING WILL BE DONE
In the Üsküdar-Yamanevler section, which has started to serve for the trial runs of the second stage of the Üsküdar- Ümraniye- Çekmeköy Metro Line, Yamanevler- Sancaktepe, it was decided to interrupt the flights on some days. The work on the metro line will be done with the slogan "A short break to go further".

SERVING ON JULY 15
Due to the control and test drive, there will be intermittent interruption of 9 days in Üsküdar-Yamanevler section. The necessary work schedule was issued for the citizens not to be victimized. The metro line 12-13-14-16-17-18-28-29 and 30 will not be available in July.

SPEAKS UP TO SANCAKTEPE
On the days when there are no metro services, transportation will be provided by IETT's additional bus services. IETT buses numbered M5 were assigned to this route. Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Line, which is planned to start service in August after the test drives, will be extended from Yamanevler to Sancaktepe.

TRANSPORTATION FROM SANCAKTEPE TO ÜSKÜDAR 27 MINUTES
9 station will be added to 7 station. Upon completion of the works, transportation from Sancaktepe to Üsküdar will be provided in 27 minutes. The first phase of Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy Metro Line was put into service with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at 15 December 2017.
