Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Salim Dervişoğlu Street is doing double road work. In line with the D-100 in the Izmit coastal area, the street extending from the east to west axis is used as an alternative transportation route. The street, which will be comfortable with the double road works, will be an important route especially to reach Kartepe area. With this feature, the street will reduce the traffic load of D-100.
WORKS ARE CONTINUING
Double road works of Salim Dervişoğlu Street continue. Stone wall works and excavation and filling works are carried out in the eastern part of the road. Also culvert applications are continuing. The road is also connected to the outlet of the Vegetable Fruit Market. The street, which is currently used as a single lane departure, will serve as two lanes after the double road work.
4 THOUSAND 950 METER
The project is realized as a double road with the project realized between Salih Dervişoğlu Street and 42 Evler and Çuhane Street. 4 thousand 950 meters of road section 42 XnumX meters between the Houses-First Step Bridge, the first step from the bridge to the Çuhane Street is done in the width of the 17 meter. Lighting will also be done in the middle median of the double road.
2X2 STRIP
Work continues in places along the way. The street, which will form an alternative transportation route to the D-100, will serve as a double road after the works. The double road work covers the section between 42 Evler area and Çuhane Street. After the work is completed, the section of the road in this range will be 2 × 2 lanes.
