New Stars Grow for Domestic and National Technology

For the domestic and national technology move, Dene-Yap Workshops are preparing to accept new students.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Turkey Technology Team (T3) in collaboration with the Foundation opened Try Technology Workshop Make-examination was performed to determine the new trainees as they continue their education.

The results of the exam which was opened for the determination of the students to be accepted this year and applied to the 40 thousand people were also announced. However, the candidates will pass an application-based test and the successful ones will start 36 monthly training this summer.
The trainees with 430 in the workshops will reach 1500 with those who will start this term.

40 THOUSAND APPLICATION FOR DENE-YAP TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS
Fourth, fifth, eighth, ninth and high school preparatory classes were accepted. 40 suitable for application; questions written in mathematics, science, algorithm and general culture. The 27, which was successful as a result of the multiple-choice exam, was awarded the next step.

NUMBER OF STUDENTS FROM 430 TO 1500 IN WORKSHOPS
Students who pass the first exam will pass a second exam based on product design, idea development and team skills. In the exam, which will be held at the IMM Eurasia Show Center on June 23, students will face the jury of experts of the T3 Foundation and present their projects within the given time frame.

Over 1000 students who are successful here will now be the new students of the Try-Do Technology Workshops in the new term. With 430 students currently continuing their education, the total number of students in the workshops will increase to 1500.

FREE TECHNOLOGY TRAININGS FOR 36 MONTHS
The training process in Dene-Yap Technology Workshops consists of two 18-month stages. In the first 18 months, students will receive training in robotics and coding, electronics and programming, cyber security, internet of things, production and design, aviation and space, artificial intelligence, mobile application, nanotechnology and energy technologies, where they learn theory and practice together. During this period, students discover themselves and determine their interests; They are expected to strengthen their project-based and inquiry-based trainings with the projects they produce as a team. In the second 18-month period, that is, during the team and competition coaching phase, students will move on to deep learning and preparation for competitions in their chosen field, taking into account their interests and skills.

IMM 7 WORKSHOP IS OPENING
Students receive one-week weekly 4,5 hours of training in the fall and spring semesters. Trainees attend the 2 days of the week in the summer period and the weekly 16 hour training.

The workshops, which started to operate for the first time on July 10, 2017 through the conversion of the centers within the body of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which previously served as BELNET (Information Access and Internet Centers), were held in Bakırköy, Fatih and Üsküdar for about a year. hosted the trainings they received. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will open new branches in Esenyurt, Güngören, Sarıyer, Pendik, Tuzla, Ümraniye and Beyoğlu districts this summer to increase the number of the Try-Do Technology Workshops to 10.
