Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Railway Project Has Started

Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication Minister Ahmet Arslan, in his speech at the Gaziantep Airport terminal building and apron construction groundbreaking ceremony, expressed his happiness in being in Gaziantep. Arslan, drawing attention to the investments they made in Gaziantep in the field of transportation, stated that they currently have 17 projects in progress and the cost of these is 800 million liras.

Arslan stated that the works have started in the “Gaziantep-Osmaniye-İncirlik-Adana-Mersin High Speed ​​Train Project” and that the stage has progressed, and the cost of this project is 3 billion 810 million liras. Arslan said, “We will reduce the distance between Adana and Gaziantep to 235 kilometers. In addition, we are building two tunnels within the scope of Başpınar - Akçagöze Project. We shorten that road by 16 kilometers and we will have access to freight trains in 45 minutes instead of 10 minutes. ” used the expression.

Stating that the work has started in the “Gaziantep-Şanlıurfa Railway Project”, Arslan stated that they have invested in Gaziantep not only in transportation, but also in the field of access, information and communication.
