Erzurum Acquires Logistics Center

Opening of Erzurum Logistics Center will be done by Deputy Prime Minister Recep Akdağ and Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan

Erzurum (Palandöken) Logistics Center; 13 June 2018 Wednesday (Today) will be inaugurated at 12.30 with the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Recep AKDAĞ and the Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet ARSLAN.

TURKEY BECOMES REGIONAL LOGISTICS BASE ...
In order to increase the competitiveness of our industrialists and to make the logistic base of our country, 21 was planned to construct a logistics center in different places.

Within the scope of the project, Istanbul (Halkalı), İzmit (Köseköy), Samsun (Gelemen), Balikesir (Gökköy), Eskişehir (Hasanbey), Uşak, Denizli (Kaklik) and Kahramanmaras (Turkoglu), including the number of 8 was opened.

437 WILL PROVIDE THOUSAND TON TRANSPORT CAPACITY UM
After the logistic centers opened to service, the construction of the Erzurum (Palandöken) Logistics Center was completed.
Erzurum (Palandöken) Logistics Center, which is founded on 350.000 m² logistics area, will be capable of carrying annually 437 thousand tons.

5 ADET LOGISTICS CENTER UNDER CONSTRUCTION X
Construction works for the logistics centers of Kars, Mersin (Yenice), Konya (Kayacik), Izmir (Kemalpasa) and Bilecik (Bozuyuk) continue.

7 PC LOGISTICS CENTER PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT PHASE UM
The tender and project works of 7 logistics center, including İstanbul (Yeşilbayır), Karaman, Kayseri (Boğazköprü), Sivas, Bitlis (Tatvan), Mardin, Şırnak (Habur), are continuing.

When the full services of logistics centers that will transform the logistics base of Turkey, the Turkish logistics sector to 35,6 million tons of additional transport possibilities with 12,8 million m² of outdoor space, storage area, container inventory and handling area will be gained.
